About Our School

Our Mission Statement

Glenbeg N.S. is a co-educational Catholic school which aims to nurture each pupil in all dimensions of their life - spiritual, moral, cognitive, emotional, imaginative, aesthetic, social and physical.

Our school upholds and promotes its Catholic ethos whilst accommodating diversity in race, culture, religion and gender. We value and respect each other and will strive to promote the values of truth, equality and compassion throughout the school community.

We celebrate the uniqueness of each child and we aspire to help them realise their full potential. We endeavour to provide a challenging and diversified curriculum in a caring, supportive and inclusive learning environment, where the needs of the pupils are identified and addressed and all achievements are celebrated.

Pupils in Glenbeg NS have a voice through the Student Council where they can express their thoughts and ideas. The Student Council is committed to helping all pupils in Glenbeg making sure everyone is included, feels safe and enjoys their primary school journey.

We strive to promote, both individually and collectively, the professional and personal development of staff through staff development programmes.

Parents are their children’s primary educators and Glenbeg N.S. will encourage parents to be actively involved in their child’s education through Home/School activities, Glenbeg N.S. Parents Association and Board of Management.
